Grade Level/Discipline:
I teach K-12 English as a Second Language. This year, my oldest students are in 11th grade and my youngest are in Kindergarten.
Few Facts about myself:
Fact 1: My college roommate's name was also Krista, our last names are very similiar, and our birthdays are a day apart.
Fact 2: I have a gigantic extended family. At my wedding this summer, just my dad's side through my generation (not counting the next one), made up 72 of our 160 guests.
Fact 3: I coach both the boys and girls tennis teams at my school. It's currently the boys' season and considering it usually snows at the beginning of the season, this weather has been wonderful.
What I'd like to learn or get out of this course:
I would like to learn how to harness my students' interest in technology in order to help them develop their English language skills. My favorite game(s):
My favorite game is Balderdash. My family plays during holidays and it's always a rowdy time.
